Master the things that don’t require talent

Some parts of business require talent.

Sales, negotiations, accounting, legal, strategy and corporate structuring.

They are learnable skills, but no matter how hard you try, you’ll never be the best at them.

But some things require no talent at all, and they will set you apart.

Good manners, looking people in the eye when they talk to you, being punctual, and replying to emails on time.

These small things make a big difference.

And they don’t require skill.

Just effort.
