Keep on swimming

There’s a story about a boy who set out to swim across a raging river.

Halfway across and exhausted, he looked up. The far bank seemed too far away. Doubt set in. Instead of pushing forward, he turned back.

He spent the energy necessary to reach the other side, but climbed out where he started.

Business is the same. At some point, you have to put your head down and keep swimming.

Turning back to what feels safe might be comfortable. But it won’t take you anything new.

Progress requires persistence and the courage to swim in unknown waters.

Just keep on swimming.
